He is the Area 23 Humorous Speech Contest winner.

Our member Paul,  with his speech entitled “The Squirrels in the Attic" won First Place in the Humorous Speech Contest. Paul will represent our club in The Division C Fall Speech Contest.

The Area 23 Humorous Speech and Table Topic contests held last night at the Simcoe Speakers Club.  Liberty Village members Jay Rao, Millee Zhou, John Kjarsgaard, Paul Vlaovic and the other participants from Toronto Go-Getters, Simcoe Speakers, and Toronto Business Toastmasters clubs delivered fantastic speeches. Our club was also represented by a number of Liberty Village members who came to support our contestants. 

The winners will compete in The Division C Fall Speech Contest, scheduled for Wednesday October 21, 2009.

Not to conflict with the Division Contest, The Liberty Village will not hold a meeting on October 21.  We encourage our members to attend the Division contest.
