This past week our Toastmaster Jay started the meeting off with a great speech about commitment. This was Jay’s last week with us for a while, as he is heading back to Vietnam.

The rest of the meeting was busy, with three unique speeches in very different styles. Mireille, in just her second speech,  left us with a wonderful New Years message, with her new mantra of loving more and judging less. Next was Olga with her 4th speech. Olga spoke about how difficult challenges make us better. Great job Olga! And last but not least, Mark spoke from an advanced manual about being an effective salesperson. In the end, WES ended up buying a solar powered toaster! To end the evening, our big Table Topics winner was our guest, Camila! Congrats!

Overall, it was a lot of fun!
