Our lesson from last night was to prepare for the un-expected. We had a change of plans which resulted in our meeting taking place outside in the park. Our Toastmaster Ted, spoke about the “End of Summer” and how it related to his childhood.  Once again great job from our Speakers, as well as everyone else who participated.

We are back at the Harbourfront Community Centre.

Our Toastmaster for tonight is Ted and tonight’s meeting theme is “The End of Summer”

General Evaluator: Clem

Our was Toastmaster’s Topic was “Accentuate the Positive” and even though we were in a new location, that is exactly what happened. John Kjarsgaard filled in as our last minute Toastmaster and did a great job. We had others that stepped up and proved that although numbers were low it is Quality that will outshine Quantity.  Once again we had great speeches and Rene won our Table Topics for the evening.
