Recap for Oct 16, 2013

By Clem D

Great meeting as always.  Toastmaster Clem, opened up the meeting by encouraging us all to exercise an “Attitude of Gratitude” by, daily counting our blessings, thinking of ways to help others and searching for the positive things in negative situations.

Helen’s Ice-Breaker speech explained her motto of “watery, woody, &  curious” and how it relates to her life, what she wants to achieve and her personality.

Eriel’s Ice-Breaker speech described where her name originated from, and how she eventually began to appreciate her name.

Wayne encouraged us to pick up running and listed various reason why this is a great idea such as, staying healthy, relieving stress, and pure joy. Running should be part of our lifestyle.

Great job by tonight’s speakers.

Our Word for Today was: Attest and our Table Topics winner was Clem.

We welcomed 3 new guests and we hope to see you all next week.
