Don’t make 2017 another year of unfinished resolutions, make it a year of revolution! In our first meeting of the year, Toastmaster Wes, encouraged us to commit to our goals and follow through. This way, we can turn our resolutions into achievements not just wishes..
We had two speakers, Sarah and Jill. Each presented a thought provoking speech about a common unavoidable fear: people and death. Whether our fear is real or in our imagination, they both agree the best way is to face it.
Our Table Topics Master, Mark, tested our impromptu skills and commitments at the same time by asking us about our New Year’s resolution. Everyone did phenomenal but it was Kelly who knocked our socks off! Congrats Kelly!
