With additional stress in our lives, unfair bosses, ungrateful colleagues or even unfaithful partners, it’s natural to feel angry. Anger is not a bad thing in itself. Anger helped us to adapt and progress. But what happens when we mismanage our anger? How can we temper our temper? Find out the answers to these questions by joining our next Toastmasters meeting this Wednesday at 6 pm at the Harbourfront Community Centre.

Reminder: Open House Event Wed. Nov. 3!!

The night has come…. it’s finally here… it’s time to, once and for all, CONQUER YOUR FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING!!!!

We have an all-star line-up of Advanced Speakers who are readying themselves for an exciting night of taking the “spook” out of speaking in public.

Our first keynote speaker for the night will be our President, Eric, who will kick things off with an entertaining speech about how he conquered his fears of public speaking. Next will be Ram, one of our most experienced speakers, who will channel his inner orator in a speech meant to inspire the audience to conquer their own fears.

Next, Jay will facilitate an interactive Workshop designed to help our guests overcome the most common public-speaking fears. And to wrap things up, Andreea will orchestrate a unique Table Topics session in the form of “chain storytelling.” The entire night, of course, will be guided by the steady hand (or voice?) of our Toastmaster, Priya.

Join us at our Open House Event tomorrow night (Nov. 3) at 6pm at the Harbourfront Community Centre, Assembly Room C. Food and drinks will be served. And don’t forget to bring a friend! (or two… or three…..). See you tomorrow night!
