Valarie was our Toastmaster and she opened us up with how the season of Fall was her version on Spring time. In both cases, things change.
Great speeches as always. Very interesting and very informative. We heard from Omer who presented his “Ice-Breaker” speech by painting us a picture of his childhood memories. Michael followed suit by describing his personal health experiences and how a proper nutritional diet is important. Max then closed us off by explaining to us about how important our attention is and how we should be careful what has a hold of it as it can control us.
Table topics winner- Yury.
Welcome to our newest inductee into the club: Helen
Next Meeting: Wed Oct 9 is the Area District Table Topics and Humorous Speech Competition in ASSEMBLY ROOM B. Good luck to Rene and John Kjarsgaard as they represent !!

We had a small group last night but none the less it is always quantity that counts as club members filled in for various evaluation roles. Karoline was our Toastmaster and she opened up by reminding us to always be grateful for what we have.
Strong speeches from Rene as he spoke on “crisis management” and Valarie as she presented an educational session on the proper ways to present a “speech evaluation”.
Table Topics winner was Michelle G. Congrats !!
There is a contest happening for each District 60 club in which the club with the most Facebook “Likes” will win a cash prize, so let’s LIKE AWAY !!!
Once again, remember to speak to Valarie in regards to your Club renewal payments.
